The Editor-in-Chief carries out the functions of scientific and cultural guidance of the journal, which she manages in collaboration with the Editorial Board and the Editorial Committee. The Editor-in-Chief assigns each article to two anonymous reviewers, who are chosen based on their specific areas of expertise, by following the journal's Policies and with the support of the Heads of the evaluation process and, if necessary, by the Editorial Committee. She has decision-making authority on the selection of contributions to be published in each issue.

The Editorial Board guides the scientific direction of the Journal, the thematic proposals of the issues and monitors the organizational structure in collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Committee.

The Scientific Committee ensures the prestige of the journal, attests to its scientific and cultural history, its national rooting and its international openness. It is not involved in the selections of the articles and in the publication procedures.

The Editorial Committee collaborates with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board on the thematic planning of the issues and it manages the organizational activities of the journal. The Heads of the evaluation processes also monitor the flow of submissions and the peer review process, which includes communications with the authors. This activity is carried out in close collaboration with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
