Since some years, Cristina Campo’s (1923-1977) thoughts about fairytales have been revalued and analysed by children’s literature scholars, as the centennial commemoration for her birth approaches. The paper aims at focusing on and contextualizing the moral and narrative role she gave to nature in fairytales. For reaching such a task, Grimm and Perrault’s fairytales collection will be also taken into account.
