Abstract

The article deals with some problematic cores related to the construction of oneself. The first one represents the assimilation of identity to the concept of form, such as explained by different authors in reference to what in the form is given and what is built. The subsequent step is to shed light on how much the other is entailed in the construction of the Self. Moreover, the narrative and the recounting of oneself as elements that produce identity and from here to the issue of the time related to subjectivity and of the remembrance that may make us able to return time to what hasn’t got time. Finally, the human condition, marked by the tragic, but with the awareness that it is precisely in the most critical moments that the human being grows in consciousness and the Self changes and restructures itself.
